The Fall 2001 WestFest will be held October 20 and 21, held at its current venue, Eleanor Tinsley Park, west of Downtown Houston. This fall, an art car being sponsored by the WFPO will make its debut, which will be a prelude to another concern: an official art car being conceived for the Art Car Parade and Art Car Ball in 2002. Details will be updated, but the vehicle used is a 1975 Chevrolet Nova coupe, which will be modeled after the Green Hornet (the Harris County Green Party's official art car).
As a part of the new art car being conceived, funds will need to be raised. I, myself, have ran a legit entrepreneurship for over 7 years now, and it does not generate a moderate income to finance both my expenses and my personal spending. The only reason why I run an entrepreneurship, instead of being a subordinate to a dominant boss, is that the corporate domination of the workforce is still the same, especially where the sugardaddies involve conglomerates like IBM or General Motors, as well as the IRS docking our paychecks for FICA, Social Security, and Medicare. President Bush might have signed the Tax Reconcilation Act in June 2001, but $600 in a tax refund isn't enough. To maintain a 501(c) status, as well as maintaining the art car, donations can be sent to my current home address:

For a quicker transaction, the WFPO now accepts PayPal transactions. Click below to donate $$$, if 'snail mail' is of no other alternative:
Please make your donations to the name listed above, and the funds will be used in the maintenance of the art car, as well as the updating of the WFPO-affiliated websites. The WFPO has become not only a fan base for the exiled WestFest, but a community outreach program to maintain the overall integrity of WestFest for years to come. No one out there is alone; especially those that feel WestFest was wrongfully moved against the will of the WSFC.
